Today Google stadia tweeted on Twitter that some adventures are better with a friend. Whether you are gifting a buddy pass or the lucky recipient of one, here is everything you need to know.
After the 2 weeks of the shipment of the first Stadia's Founders edition, Google is giving its users codes that you can give your friends. Google is calling these codes buddy passes because you can share them with your friends.
These stadia buddy passes will allow your friends to use stadia pro for free for 3 months. When Google rollout a buddy pass to you it will be like an envelope in your stadia app.
After seeing an envelope you will need to share this with one of your friends. You need to tap on it to see your code and send it to your friend. Your friend can redeem it in Stadia Application and create an account to use it.
The envelope will show up on the top-left corner of the stadia app.
To play this your friend will just need to fire up Stadia in Google Chrome. He will also need a controller that is not yet available in the US. But don't worry they can use Xbox or a PS4 controller or they can use a mouse and keyboard. But the controller is a recommended option for Google Stadia.
