Last month Samsung released its new phone Samsung A8s. This phone is going to set the new trends of the smartphone industry like a year with the notch. Here at The Techhub Pro, we give the complete review of this beast.
Display
The main highlight of this beast is displayed. Both Samsung and Huawei launched their punch-hole camera displays in the difference of a week. However, Samsung calls it the Infinity-O display with the little O style hole on the top left side of the device.
This device packs in 6.4 inch IPS LCD display with the screen resolution of 2340-by-1080. It has a pixel density of 403 PPI. As we all know that Samsung makes beautiful displays. So this one also looks beautiful by looking at it at first sight. From the top and other two sides of the phone, it has no bezels but it has a large chin on the bottom of the phone which is a bit annoying looking at other sides of the phone. But no android manufacturer made a phone which would have no chin. So, this is normal enough.
Processor
As this phone is not flagship series phone so, this packs in higher mid-range processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon and it is 710. Snapdragon 710 is entering the 700 series which works on the new technology of 10nm processing. This makes this phone more efficient in both battery and speed.
This processor has packed in Adreno 616 GPU which lets you play games like PUBG without any trouble. Samsung A8s basically has no issues in terms of performance but surely due to Samsung's skin on Android lets it some issues sometimes but most of the time it works smooth.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy A8s has some good cameras in-lined. Three rear cameras on the backpacks some amazing features but the quality is not that great. It packs in the main camera of 24MP wide-angle with f/1.7 aperture. Along with the main camera, it has a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2X optical zoom. The third rear camera is a 5MP depth of field camera with an f/2.2 aperture which lets you instant depth adjustment. It is interesting to know that Samsung is the first company in the world that has 4 cameras in any smartphone, Samsung Galaxy A9. The back camera on this device can shoot 4K videos at 30 fps. This device can record slow-motion videos at 480 fps at the resolution of 720p and 240 fps at 1080p.
The secondary camera on this device packs in a 24MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Samsung tried to keep its maximum quality but this device's cameras are on average quality. However, these camera specs are only a gimmick by Samsung and sure no company would include top-notch cameras in their mid-range smartphones. Well, that's all from the camera part of the phone that speaks quite well it's a performance by himself.
The back camera of this device also includes automatic flaw detection which is used to prevent blurry images sometimes. The camera points out auto corrections for the people whose eyes are closed and some other part of the body is blurry.
Battery
Samsung Galaxy A8s packs in some pretty good battery which also gives it a good battery backup. It packs in a 3400 mAh battery. This battery can last long a day easily on normal usage.
Ram & Storage
This phone comes only in Hong Kong, South Korea, and China. In those countries, it comes only in one variant of 6GB of ram and 128GB of storage.

However, this phone is not globally launched but it is a high-end mid-range smartphone. Samsung always releases this kind of smartphone at this kind of costly price tag. In my opinion, it would be too early to buy this phone because after S10 it will be launched globally.
